We are a small business, just my husband and I, and we are in our mid fifties. We were searching for the software that could help us start the business from the ground. We were considering several products but chose AvailSuite Pest Control, because it has all necessary features and is a bit cheaper than the others. We thought it would benefit a small business like ours and it did.

The performance of the business is much better when you have software like AvailSuite. You have your work schedules, customer information, service and product information there, you do accounting, send invoices from the software and you go to profit and loss to track your payables and receivables any time you need. AvailSuite has helped us greatly increase the customer satisfaction. When our client calls for the order, I call up the customer profile on the screen and see all the personal information, including order and payment history. The fact is that it is really beneficial; because the clients think you know them and care about them. From the last year I have all my clients in and I can tell exactly, yes, we spread the chemicals inside and outside, I know the dates and by one click I can easily find any information related to the customers and the services we do.

Prior to finding Availsuite, I was using excel spreadsheets to manage this pest control business. I was losing track of jobs, customer's details and outstanding invoices. The business owner was very stressed trying to ensure that all details were captured in my spreadsheets. I was stressed with trying to manage all this information.

Originally the business started with one technician so managing with spreadsheets was a possibility. However, as soon as we took on more technicians, it was impossible to manage without software. I had to look for a solution.

As soon as I started using AvailSuite Pest Control things became a lot easier to manage. I had more time in the day to chase outstanding invoices and work on business development. My life became simpler. Instead of paper everywhere, every bit of detail about the business was contained on my laptop. I didn't need to go anywhere else. It also cut down on the number of files I needed - saving valuable space in my office.

The features I find most beneficial are:

The ability to create an invoice with one click. Invoicing was taking me a long time prior to this. And, of course, if invoices weren't going out for 2 weeks after the jobs were complete then our cashflow was suffering. Now, invoices are sent out the day that the work is started. This has a positive impact on our cash flow.

Customer Management - I can see at a glance which jobs we have quoted for and we didn't get. We can call these customers and follow up. This will make a difference to our cash flow.

Contract management - I can schedule appointments with companies on a recurring basis. I never have to worry that we will miss another appointment.

Reporting tools - I can choose from 40 reports to evaluate how the business is running.

At the click of a mouse I know how much money is outstanding, how long it has been outstanding for and who owes it to us. I also know whether we are making a profit - something that is very difficult to tell from spreadsheets! I know how much we have invoiced per month, which technician is invoicing the most, which product is the most popular, where we are getting the most calls.

Prior to AvailSuite we could not even tell how much profit we were making. Things were spiraling out of control. As a result of the software, both myself and the business owner are a lot calmer and feel more in control. All jobs are input into the software so I know that nothing falls through the net. It saves valuable time and our business seems so much more professional. We are no longer working into the night trying to work out our figures.

The customer service level is a major factor of why I decided to purchase this product. The responses are always super quick and complete. I am not a technical person but I am always able to work through the responses and make things work on my computer. I always get a same day answer to my queries from someone who knows the product inside out. They are open to suggestions and feedback on ways to improve it and make the software work for us.

I would definitely recommend AvailSuite to other people working in this type of business. In fact, I don't know how you could operate without it!
