How are we different from competitors?

GENERAL

State of the art user interface, unmeet in other service management software

The first thing we hear from the people who download trial version of AvailSuite is: "your program looks awesome!" While we are pleased to hear that, it comes as no surprise. AvailSuite has been designed using all the latest technology, by the people who have developed business software for over than 10 years, and with the help of professional designers. Our user interface is very similar to what you would expect from a Microsoft Office application. This is because most users are familiar with MS Office and we want them to be able to quickly understand how to work with our software. Everything you see in AvailSuite is customizable: toolbars, window size and position, data views, and so on. You can even select between different Windows themes and flat vs. 3D styles. Any changes you make to the appearance are automatically saved, so your style preferences will be used every time you run AvailSuite.

AvailSuite offers powerful tables and views, with customizable columns, sorting and filters

When you have a lot of data in your business management software, you might find it difficult to find and work with the only records you actually need. AvailSuite comes with a set of views and tables (also called grids) that make it easier to work with your data records. You use these views to see only the data you want to see. You can choose what columns you want to have displayed, you can sort the data by clicking on appropriate column header, and you can even create filters similar to how it is done in Excel. All your changes done to the views will be automatically stored, and next time you open AvailSuite, you will have everything the way you set it up before.

AvailSuite gives you most features for the money

While some of the unique features listed here exist in other service management software, none of the competitors stands close to similar combination of the features for the similar price. You can either find small packages, developed years ago, or full blown ERP systems costing thousands of dollars for 5-user license. AvailSuite is the best choice for small companies that have to spend their earned money carefully.

Fair pricing, starting with $299 for single user version

A typical small service company cannot spend thousands of dollars for business management software. We offer AvailSuite single user license at a price of $299, and AvailSuite for Pest Control single user license for $395. A license is required per manager user, not technician. So, if you have two managers, you would pay for 2 licenses, no matter whether you have 5 or 50 technicians. Volume discount is available for additional licenses. Visit our Ordering page for more details.

We add features all the time, which you receive for free

We add new features all the time, improving our software. You pay once and receive new updates for free for a full year. Other companies, selling service management software claim that they do something similar, but you better check how often they actually do these free updates. You may be "surprised" to see no updates in years. AvailSuite is being updated about every 2 months. Refer to our Release History to review the exact history of all the updates, with the list of features added and problems fixed.

AvailSuite is developed using the latest software technologies

AvailSuite is a relatively new product, which is a good news, because it is developed on Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Desktop Engine. While you might be not interested in all technical jargon, you should be interested about protecting your investments. AvailSuite is much likely to do it, because unlike other service management software is based on technologies, which won't be obsolete in a couple of years. Moreover, AvailSuite will run on Windows Vista as a native application, because it is developed using .NET. All other applications developed in Visual Basic and similar ancient tools will run in a crippled mode in Windows Vista, much like MS-DOS programs run in Windows these days.

Free and user-friendly technical support, no hidden charges

We provide free technical support to all AvailSuite users. There are no hidden charges, like a limited number of free support accidents. All support is provided through e-mail, unless our support personnel decide to call you to facilitate problem resolution. Our typical response time is 15 minutes for the initial support request, and even less when investigating the problem. While some people might think that e-mail support is not as good as phone support, it is worth noting that you won't have to spend your time on hold waiting to speak to a live person, being forwarded to other people several times, and having to tell your story all over again. Another advantage for you is that you will only communicate to people who do have adequate knowledge and qualification to actually help you.

FEATURES

Optimized for multi-user work over local network or internet

AvailSuite has been designed to make multi-user work easy and seamless. When someone enters a new order or service, or modifies existing data records, they are displayed in bold font to other users until they open and read new information. It works very similar to your e-mail program - it also shows unread e-mail in bold font. This useful feature is not met in other service management software, only Availsuite has it at the time of the writing.

Ability to attach files to work orders, customers, and other data

You can attach files to any data record in AvailSuite, just like you do when sending e-mails. Many AvailSuite users call this to be the most useful feature ever. They scan work orders and signed contracts, attach the scanned files to the customer record and then forget about the paper copy forever. You can attach photos, faxes, special notes, driving instructions to service location, anything you need. It is time to make your office really paper-less!

Automatic online updates available

Unlike other service management software, AvailSuite makes handling updates very simple. It will display you a new update notification, and once you confirm the update, it will automatically download and install the update. Since Microsoft has adopted this technology, the automatic online updates are considered to be a characteristic of mature software.

Easy services and appointments scheduling

Because people are a key resource for a small company, effective staff management is required for the business to succeed. AvailSuite provides a simple and intuitive way to manage staff - Scheduling Calendar. This unique feature clearly distinguishes AvailSuite from other small business management software.

You can effectively schedule both short-term and long-term tasks, because you can change time-scale from minutes to months via single mouse click. You can manage your tasks, schedule tasks for technicians, and entire service teams. If you need to distribute the work between say 3 people, you can easily set filter to display just these 3 people's tasks. One click shows unassigned tasks. Another click shows all the tasks that have not been scheduled to any exact time yet. All the drag-and-drop capabilities make complex scheduling a breeze. You can move a task from one day to another day using the mouse. You can re-assign it from one person to another in a similar way. Resizing task bar will change the task's duration. Double-clicking on the task bar opens a screen with complete task details. Once the scheduling is done, you can print the daily job lists for everyone and get them started.

Support for unplanned tasks

An unplanned task is something you won't see anywhere except AvailSuite. An unplanned task is a task, which has not been completely scheduled. For example, a customer asks you to perform certain service in May, or even less specific - somewhere during the spring. It's a good thing - you just received an order, but how are you going to make sure your company doesn't forget about it? AvailSuite has the answer for it. You create a task, set it to "unplanned" state, and specify that estimated period for this task is May or spring. When the time comes, you will see this task on the top of the list of unplanned tasks - meaning it is time to take some actions, call the customer and schedule the service to a particular date.

Support of automatic numbering for Document IDs

It is a good practice to assign a unique ID to every order, invoice, or other document you have in your business. Simple it sounds, but most service management programs do not provide automatic numbering of documents. AvailSuite is very flexible about it - you can set a numbering template for every type of document, and the system will generate the IDs the way you want it to. You can also always manually change the ID if you have to.

You can do many things in a time using AvailSuite

Our software allows the user to open several windows and work with them simultaneously - doing a few things at once. This is especially useful for a small business. For example, you may open a timesheet to review the last day's activities, and in the middle of this, a customer calls and you have to take her order. In a traditional program, you would have to close all the windows, go to the order module, start entering it, and then try to remember where you were when the call interrupted you. In AvailSuite, you just open another window with the new order, while everything else remains; it is waiting when you switch your attention back when you are finished with the order.
